Abstract
⸠The study is carried out at the nanometric scale with the PNP/DFT equations set. ⸠DFT is used to account for the ion size with symmetric and unsymmetric electrolytes. ⸠The analysis is carried out over a wide range of bulk density and of membrane charge. ⸠The electric double layer structure is highly influenced by the bulk density. ⸠The current/voltage curves are correlated to the relative membrane anion density.
