Abstract
▸ A model for solvent permeation through ceramic UF and NF membranes is presented. ▸ The model has good predictability for pure solvents and solvent mixtures. ▸ It requires the fitting of three to four parameters characterising the membrane. ▸ The number of experiments needed to characterise a membrane is reduced.
