Abstract
▸ sPPSU can improve the pervaporation performance for C1-C4 alcohols dehydration. ▸ Separation is achieved by preferential diffusion of penetrates through membranes. ▸ Permeation flux can be maintained above 30 g/m2 h from C1 to C4 dehydration. ▸ Separation factor follows the order of IPA>n-BuOH>EtOH>MeOH. ▸ sPPSU membranes show great potential to be used for MeOH purification industry.
