Abstract
▸ BTESE membranes were prepared at 100 to 300 °C by sol-gel method on α-Al2O3 support. ▸ BTESE fired at 100 °C showed He permeance of 2.2×10−7 mol/(m2 s Pa) with He/SF6 of 140. ▸ BTESE fired at 100 °C showed water fluxes of 2.51 kg and α of 130 in PV of 90 wt% IPA. ▸ PV flux kept constant while α increased with increasing membranes firing temperatures. ▸ BTESE Membrane fired at 100 °C showed stable PV performance for more than 10 h.
