Abstract
⸠ZSM-5 membrane water fluxes up to 11.5 kg mâ2 hâ1 for 0.3 wt% NaCl feed solution. ⸠Stability test (560 h) showed the dissolution of zeolite top-layers. ⸠Dissolution of top-layers due to ion exchange and water dissolution mechanisms. ⸠Dissolved silica and possibly zeolite nano-slabs infiltrated into the support. ⸠The silicalite-1 membrane exhibited high robustness than ZSM-5 membrane.
