Abstract
⺠Monoethanol amine salts can be concentrated up to 18 wt% using electrodialysis. ⺠The output concentration strongly depends on the applied current density. ⺠Water diffusion plays a major role at low current densities. ⺠Current utilization is â¼80%, independent of conditions. ⺠The power consumption under typical electrodialysis conditions is 0.35 kWh/g MEA.
