Abstract
ⶠMixed matrix membranes composed of polymer and mesoporous silica spheres are prepared. ⶠThe filler induces changes in polyimide Matrimid® and polysulfone Udel® structure. ⶠGood dispersion of the filler without agglomeration in the polymer matrix. ⶠThe permeability of the selective gas increases with filler loading. ⶠThe gas selectivity has a maximum at 8 wt% filler loading.
