Abstract
- Porous Al2O3/TiO2 tubes were combined with [emim][Ac] IL in SILMs for CO2 recovery.
- SILMs were prepared by impregnation (A) and by coating the TiO2 outer layer (B).
- The very thin SILM-B sample reported a 20 times higher CO2 permeation than SILM-A.
- Long-term performance demonstrated the stability of the membranes for 25Â h.
- The SILM-B outperformed the state of the art for CO2/N2 separation in polymers.
