Abstract
⺠Solvent screening for mono ethylene glycol extraction from aqueous streams. ⺠COSMO-RS was used to predict the LLE performance of real and hypothetical solvents. ⺠Conventional organic solvents and ILs were evaluated in LLE experiments. ⺠Tailor made ILs outperformed other tested solvents with DMEG up to 0.45 and S of 3.2.
