Abstract
► An innovative process for an efficient removal of CO2 from flue gas is proposed. ► Supported liquid membranes immobilized with ionic liquids were prepared. ► Membrane stability, CO2, N2 permeability, and CO2/N2 ideal selectivity was evaluated. ► Gas solubility and diffusivity coefficients in solvents with enzyme were determined. ► The performance of SLMs with ionic liquids and enzyme for CO2 capture was enhanced.
