Abstract
⺠Lignin regeneration from wood dissolved in ionic liquids is studied. ⺠Regenerated lignin is analyzed by FTIR, 13C NMR, elemental analysis, TGA and DSC. ⺠Microwave radiation decreases wood dissolution time compared to thermal heating. ⺠Lignin can be regenerated from solutions of wood in chloride-based ionic liquids. ⺠Regenerated lignin shows different properties depending on the ionic liquid used.
