Abstract
⺠Binodal curves for different ionic liquid-based aqueous two-phase systems were determined. ⺠Size of the miscibility gap depends on the polarity of the ionic liquid. ⺠Distribution coefficient of 1,3-propanediol in different ionic liquid-based aqueous two-phase systems were measured. ⺠Distribution coefficient depends on the polarity of the ionic liquid. ⺠Influence of the anion on the distribution coefficient is stronger than the influence of the cation.
