Abstract
⺠Three ILs extractants have been synthesised for the separation and recovery of boron. ⺠The low solubility of these ILs overcome the stability problems of SLM processes. ⺠Boron extracted can be easily stripped with a 0.2 M NaOH/ 0.3 M NaCl solution. ⺠The Ils designed have shown a promising behavior with FSSLM.
