Abstract
⺠3D simulations of a hot fluid (Pr = 0.11) past a cold particle. ⺠The Re number is fixed, the Richardson number evolves to examine the effect of mixed convection. ⺠2 codes based on two different methods gives the same results. ⺠A flow transition at the sphere rear for Ri = 0.6.
