Abstract
► Nanofluid thermal conductivity enhancement and adsorption are linearly correlated. ► Temperature enhances the nanofluid thermal conductivity by increasing adsorption. ► Decreasing the nanoparticles' size leads to increasing adsorption of fluid molecules. ► Adsorption and thermal conductivity have linear correlation with concentration.
