Abstract
⺠An open loop pulsating heat pipe (OLPHP) charged with ferrofluid is investigated. ⺠Effects of important parameters on thermal performance of OLPHPs are considered. ⺠Thermal resistance of the ferrofluid charged OLPHPs can magnetically be adjusted. ⺠The optimum inclination angle for the present OLPHP is around 67.5°.
