Abstract
- Use of traceable particles in flue gas was viable for 2D PIV in thermal test boiler.
- PIV results were verified by numerical simulation to reflect actual flow in furnaces.
- The excess air ratios only affected the magnitude of the main flow velocity of flue gas.
- The flow field under higher load conditions was more stable due to higher rigidity.
