Abstract
We found a new way to prove the interaction between the two components in polyaniline (PANI-DTA)/La composites by studying the specific heat. It is firstly found that PANI-DTA has a phase transition peak at â50 °C. The composites (PLa) have no phase transition at â50 °C, so the thermal, magnetic and electrochemical properties are different from PANI-DTA. The heat capacities of the composites are higher than that of PANI-DTA and La complex. the magnetic field dependence of magnetization (M-H) curves of PANI-DTA and PLa-2 exhibit saturation magnetization and a hysteresis loop. The electrochemical performance of the composites are greatly improved compared with PANI-DTA and La complex.
