Abstract
⸠A DSC was linked to a FTIR spectrometer via a fibre-optic probe. ⸠The cross-linking kinetics of a thermosetting resin system were studied using this technique. ⸠The activation energies for the resin were similar for the conventional and modified DSC. ⸠The simultaneous DSC/FTIR technique is simple to implement.
