Abstract
▸ Unique vertical design of a DSC device manufactured in the low-cost LTCC technology and therefore capable of one-way use. ▸ Fully functional DSC device with a size of only 1.5 mm × 11 mm × 39 mm enabling very low power consumption. ▸ Comparable measurement performance as conventional DSC whilst also suitable for mobile thermal analysis. ▸ Thermal resolution is 0.12 (TAWN test). Repeatability of the peak area is within 0.3% for indium samples. ▸ Calorimetric sensitivity: linear with regard to temperature and independent from sample mass and heating rate in wide ranges.
