Abstract
⸠We investigated the pyridine containing polyurethanes using TGA. ⸠HDI based PUPys have higher Ti, but lower Te. ⸠Lower BINA content PUPys improved thermal stability at lower temperature. ⸠MDI-BDO hard segment improves the decomposition temperature of BINA unit. ⸠Thermo-oxidative degradation mechanism is associated with the hydrogen bonding of pyridine.
