Abstract
⺠In this study we propose a new method for kinetic calculations. ⺠A large, but finite number of first order reactions are optimised. ⺠The selection of parameters is done by comparison with experimental data in a MILP Problem. ⺠The model is applied to the study of different thermal decomposition curves. ⺠Pyrolysis of Avicel cellulose, lignin, polyurethane and tannery wastes are discussed.
