Abstract
⺠Interacting terephthaloyl chloride with Type I collagen increases the thermal stability of the collagen based biopolymer material. ⺠Interacting terephthaloyl chloride with Type I collagen increases the mechanical strength of the collagen based biopolymer material. ⺠Cross-linking chemistry between -COCl- groups of terephthaloyl chloride with -NH2 group of collagen via nucleophilic addition elimination reaction.
