Abstract
⺠The presence of cotton stalk bast fibers (CSBF) promoted the nucleation of PBS while retarded the transport of chain segments. ⺠The Avrami and Liu model rightly described the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of CSBF/PBS composites. ⺠CSBF did not change the crystalline structure of PBS, while reduced the size of spherulites. ⺠The presence of CSBF enhanced the storage modulus of PBS matrix.
