Abstract
► The heat capacity of SrCeO3(s) and Sr2CeO4(s) using DSC. ► Thermal expansion coefficients of SrCeO3(s) and Sr2CeO4(s) using HTXRD methods. ► Heat capacity of Sr2CeO4(s) shows the second order phase transition at 750 K. ► The phase transition was also confirmed from coefficient of volume expansion. ► No phase transition in SrCeO3(s) in the temperature range of 298-1273 K.
