Abstract
Despite the heated political rhetoric, the upcoming presidential campaign season, and uncertainty over the power and role of the Tea Party and its elected members, federal energy policy could be one place where our nation's divergent interests can find common ground through thoughtful, balanced legislation and policies that bring us significant – albeit more “limited” – energy policy. But it is unlikely to be anything that the renewable energy lobby will applaud.
