Abstract
- Graphite felt electrode was treated by electrochemical oxidation.
- The treated anode facilitated formation of electrogenic biofilm.
- Strong hydrogen and/or peptide bonds contributed to bacterial attachment.
- Cytochrome c of D. desulfuricans was efficiently bound to the electrode and transferred electrons directly.
