Abstract
- Choline acetate can dissolve hemicellulose and lignin in bagasse and pine.
- Cellulose pulp is not dissolved during the dissolution of the other biopolymers.
- The dissolved hemicellulose and lignin can be recovered after the dissolution.
- The obtained pulp can be rapidly dissolved in 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate.
