Abstract
- Biosorptive activated sludge (BAS) removed 80% of municipal wastewater COD.
- The nitrogen and phosphorus were entirely recovered for reuse in agriculture.
- Sewage ultrafiltration was improved with BAS pre-treatment and iron addition.
- Process efficiency was higher with concentrated than diluted municipal wastewater.
