Abstract
- A packed bed enzyme microreactor was firstly used for the rapid synthesis of propyl caffeate.
- The enzymatic reaction parameters under continuous-flow conditions were optimized.
- The maximum yield of propyl caffeate (99.5%) was achieved in a short time (2.5Â h).
- Km in the developed microreactor was 16 times lower than that of a batch reactor.
