Abstract
Though a shock load of magnetic NPs had negative impacts on activated sludge process, long-term exposure to 50 mg/L magnetic NPs eventually enhanced wastewater nitrogen removal performance, resulted from the increased abundance of nitrifying bacteria and the improved activities of enzymes.
