Abstract
⺠Ionic liquid and alkaline pretreatments were combined for biomass pretreatment. ⺠The yield of glucose for the integrated pretreated poplar wood was 99.2%. ⺠The reliable reasons for enhancing the enzymatic hydrolysis were investigated. ⺠The yield of hemicellulosic and lignin fractions was 59.3% and 74.4%, respectively.
