Abstract
⺠Immobilization of β-glucosidase on a functionalized magnetic nanoparticles was achieved. ⺠Enhancement in β-glucosidase thermostability was observed upon immobilization to nanomaterials. ⺠Nanomaterial immobilized enzyme was used for cellobiose hydrolysis. ⺠Nanoparticle-enzyme conjugate retained more than 50% enzyme activity up to the 16 cycles of substrate hydrolysis.
