Abstract
⺠Pretreatment of miscanthus, typha and empty fruit palm bunch was investigated. ⺠Ethanol organosolv lignins were characterized by 13C NMR and FT IR. ⺠Supplementation with naphthol enhances delignification ability. ⺠A good association was observed between S + H/G ratio and the effect of naphthol.
