Abstract
⺠Bioethanol production from soft drink wastewater is technically feasible. ⺠Alcoholic fermentation was mediated by yeasts of the Saccharomyces genus. ⺠Addition of nutrients significantly reduces the fermentation time. ⺠Ethanol yields were close to theoretical values for this type of fermentation.
