Abstract
⺠S. oneidensis MR-1 could decolorize the dye mixture under anaerobic condition. ⺠The redox potential of dyes could not determine the order of decolorization. ⺠Addition of electron shuttles could accelerate the decolorization of dye mixture. ⺠Mtr respiratory pathway was responsible for the decolorization of dye mixture. ⺠Anaerobic decolorization depends on the electricity production of exoelectrogens.
