Abstract
⺠This is the first report of using poplar processing residues for methane production. ⺠The residues weren't good material for methane production without NaOH treatment. ⺠Enhancement of methane production can be achieved after alkaline treatment. ⺠The highest methane production was achieved at 35 g/L with 5.0% alkaline dose.
