Abstract
⺠The effects of different nitrogen sources on broth viscosity were evaluated. ⺠High ammonium sulfate decreased broth viscosity and glucose consumption. ⺠Partial substitution of soybean meal with inorganic nitrogen and phosphate improved erythromycin A production.
