Abstract
⺠A scaled down approach to identify and optimize operational conditions was developed. ⺠A set of parallel bioreactors system was designed, developed and operated. ⺠The influence of geometric and dynamic parameters on bioconversion rate was established. ⺠Development of a scalable, fully controlled and monitored biocatalysis process. ⺠Optimized naringin hydrolysis by naringinase encapsulated in PVA-lens.
