Abstract
► Pyrolysis of sludge or sludge/filter cake mix can produce value added products. ► Valuable pure 5,5-dimethyl hydantoin is formed during slow pyrolysis. ► Aliphatic acids and amides are determined in slow pyrolysis water rich fractions. ► Enrichment of almost all metals in the pyrolysis solid fractions is found.
