Abstract
⺠Succinic acid production from cellobiose by A. succinogenes is carried out. ⺠The cellobiose uptake mechanisms of A. succinogenes are investigated. ⺠Cellobiose prepared from sugarcane bagasse cellulose is firstly used to produce succinic acid. ⺠We just use cellulase without β-glucosidase in the preparation of cellobiose.
