Abstract
⺠Recombinant Klebsiella pneumoniae ÎldhA (KGSADH) was constructed. ⺠The recombinant strain co-produced 252 mM 3-HP and 309 mM PDO from glycerol. ⺠The cumulative yield of these two metabolites on glycerol was 77% (mol/mol). ⺠Product inhibition was serious at high 3-HP and/or PDO.
