Abstract
⺠Waste sweetpotato vines was firstly reported as a raw material for SCOs production. ⺠SVH characterized as an effective nutrients supplier with low nitrogen availability. ⺠Extremely high lipid was yielded by Trichosporon fermentans using SVH based media. ⺠Co-fermentation of SVH and high-sugar content wastes was more efficient and less-cost. ⺠SVH has a remarkable promoting effect on cell growth and sugar uptake of the yeast.
