Abstract
⺠A structured procedure based on PCA is applied to synthetic data from ADM1. ⺠The method leads to a simplified model derived from ADM1. ⺠The reduced model has a behavior very close to ADM1. ⺠The reduced model could be used for control and monitoring purposes. ⺠The methodology can be used to reduce any biochemical model based on mass balances.
