Abstract
⺠A new process for Cr(VI)-detoxification was proposed. ⺠Polypyrrole-engineered pulp fibers were used as the biosorbent. ⺠Hydrogen peroxide was used as oxidant to prepare the engineered fibers. ⺠The process was demonstrated as an effective alternative for Cr(VI)-detoxification.
