Abstract
⺠Dry anaerobic digestion of food waste was investigated under mesophilic conditions. ⺠Stable operation was achieved by HRT control without the addition of alkali agents. ⺠Microbial community was investigated by 454 pyrosequencing technique. ⺠Significant microbial shift was observed after acclimation in the dry AD condition. ⺠Most sequences showed high similarity to Methanosarcina thermophila DSM 1825T.
