Abstract
⺠Activated carbon or graphite was blended in polyacrylonitrile to prepare carbon nanofibers (CNFs). ⺠Such blends increased specific surface area and porosity in resulting CNFs. ⺠Bioelectrocatalytic current generation was improved with these CNF electrodes. ⺠Using such blends in precursors can be a viable strategy for making efficient CNF electrodes.
