Abstract
► Biomass and lipid production of microalgae were examined under different conditions. ► Photoheterotrophic condition resulted the highest biomass productivity. ► High glucose and yeast extract concentrations enhanced the productivity. ► Different agitation rates affected the lipid content and composition in bioreactors. ► FTIR analysis revealed time course changes in biochemical spectrum of microalgae.
