Abstract
⺠We applied wastewater from a municipal WWTP for microalgae cultivation. ⺠The isolates originated from an anaerobic digester grew without a lag period. ⺠The high ammonia concentration in anaerobic digester effluent should be diluted. ⺠The highest biomass productivity was obtained from a combined wastewater. ⺠The effluent of a 1st settling tank enhances separation between solid and liquid.
