Abstract
⺠PHB production by Type II methanotrophs is of commercial and environmental interest. ⺠We model stoichiometry and kinetics of Type II methanotrophs. ⺠We show effects of oxygen and nitrogen sources on Type II methanotrophic growth. ⺠Methane requirement to produce PHB is a key parameter and organism-specific. ⺠Analyses can inform bioreactor design, scale-up models, and life cycle assessments.
